The City of Suwanee Will Host an Open House for a Buford Highway Reconstruction Project on Oct. 9.

The Buford Highway reconstruction project — which is expected to include sidewalks, medians, additional turn lanes, bike lanes, landscaping and more — stretches from George Pierce Park to McGinnis Ferry Road.

The city’s vision for the “context-sensitive, multi-transportation roadway,” according to a press release, “calls for the roadway to remain a local road that accommodates multiple modes of transportation and helps connect residents and visitors to a variety of activity centers.”
